Welcome to The Juice Box School, where curiosity is always on tap.

A San Antonio microschool where children can grow, explore, and be honored exactly as they are.

Our Mission

To spark wonder and connection through child-led learning, storytelling, and real-world exploration while nurturing empathy, a connection to Earth, and the understanding that every voice matters.

About Us
A young boy with curly red hair wearing a colorful striped shirt and gray pants explores a natural outdoor setting, walking over large rocks and passing through a makeshift log shelter made of tree branches.

The Sprouts (PreK3/4)

The Sprouts classroom is a gentle, nurturing introduction to school where curiosity is honored and learning begins through play and exploration.

The Wild Explorers (Kinder/1st)

A young boy wearing a space-themed shirt is placing painted rocks with facial features onto a wooden board on a table covered with green grass-like material. Other children are visible in the background.

The Wild Explorers classroom is a place where imagination and inquiry come together.

The Tinkerers (2nd/3rd)

The Tinkerers classroom is built on the belief that every child has something meaningful to say.

Our Program
Multiple children are holding and examining a small green plant with multiple leaves together.

Why Choose Us?

At The Juice Box School, our teachers are collaborators, co-learners, and advocates for childhood. Together, we’ve created a space where curiosity is honored, learning is hands-on, and children are valued for exactly who they are.

Founded and run by our teaching team, our school was built from a shared belief that education can be more: more connected, and more reflective of the diverse world our children live in. Through a commitment to equity, social justice, and a consciously decolonized curriculum, we strive to create a community where every child belongs and every voice matters.

Meet the Teachers

Tour Inquiry

We know how important it is to experience a school in person, and we would truly love to welcome you into our space.

As we prepare to open The Juice Box School, our teachers are currently finishing out the school year in our existing classrooms. Because of this, and due to shared use of our facility, we are not able to offer regular weekday tours at this time.

We are actively working to offer limited weekend tour opportunities and will share those dates as soon as they become available. Otherwise, we anticipate opening tours more regularly closer to the start of the school year.
